A composition out of left-field, Minuet is a sparkling Riesling, joining only a handful of its kind made in Australia. Taken from select estate fruit, parcels of Majella’s Coonawarra Riesling are reserved over multiple vintages and blended then bottle fermented in the traditional style. It’s dosed with just enough disgorgement liqueur to keep it in the fresh, lively aperitif style and balance all that zingy regional acid Coonawarra Riesling retains.
Expect aromas of apple, citrus and honeydew melon, a persistent fine bead and crisp clean finish. Light, fresh and lean, this is perfect with oysters, but also matches with a variety of fish at the table.
