Donnachiara is a contemporary winery based in Montefalcione in the province of Avellino, at the heart of Irpinia in Campania — one of Southern Italy’s most important quality wine regions and home to the three DOCG appellations of Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo and Taurasi. Established in 2005 by the Petitto family, the estate builds on generations of viticultural heritage, transitioning from grape growing to a fully integrated wine producer. Today, Donnachiara focuses on the expression of indigenous varieties through a balance of tradition and technical precision, combining high-altitude vineyard sites, sustainable practices and ongoing research to produce wines that reflect the identity of Irpinia.
