Nino Negri Riserva Valtellina Superiore DOCG

This Riserva wine showcases Nino Negri’s mountain Nebbiolo in an aged format. First produced in 1959, this wine always has a minimum of four years maturation before release, including at least two in wood. It’s grown in the steep, south‑facing terraced vineyards across the subregions of Valtellina Superiore, providing a sum of the variety’s terroir-driven personality and noted for its harmony, complexity, and the ability to age up to 15 years.

2018

A medium‑intensity ruby red colour with garnet highlights, the nose is rich and expressive, offering violet, pepper, cinnamon, ripe fruit, liquorice, and tobacco. On the palate it is dry, with soft yet flavoursome tannins, supported by fresh acidity that contributes to its longevity and balance.
