Named for the Holdsworth Family, who planted the L’Attitude Vineyard, Nevis Bluff ‘The Holdsworth’ Pinot Noir is a barrel selection by winemaker Matt Connell, of wines which he finds to exhibit florals and savoury elements balanced with power and presence. Fruit was selectively hand-picked, destemmed and fermented in oak vessels. The final blend matured for 10 months in French oak (33% new).
Delicate florals, mocha, and cola infuse nose with darker fruit complexity. On the palate, it’s a harmonious blend of soft yet diverse flavours with dark cherry fruit, earth and spice all playing a part. A wine of true finesse, it features powdery tannins and a long, gentle finish.
